With JEE Main 2015 a few days away, Arihant is giving the aspirants a chance to test themselves by attempting the All lndia JEE Main Online Open Test.

The All lndia JEE Main Onlie Open Test will be conducted by Arihant, the well known name in books for various national and regional competitive & recruitment examinations. The online mock tests have been designed by highly experienced authors like Amit M Agarwal covering the mathematics section, D B Singh looking after Physics and Ranjeet Shahi covering the Chemistry section.

The test will be held on 29th March, 2015 i.e. Sunday from 08:00 hours till 21:00 hours. Entry to the test is by prior registration. The test is free of cost and registration for the same is also free.

The examination schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2015 has been announced. JEE Advanced 2015 is scheduled to be held on 24th May, 2015. The examination will be held for duration of three hours for each paper. According to the schedule, Paper I will be held between 9 am and 12 pm and Paper II will take place between 2 pm and 5pm. Maharashtra state board releases schedule for higher secondary board exams

The datesheet for the higher secondary examinations has been released by the Maharashtra State Board. The exams are scheduled to begin from 3rd March, 2015 and will end on 26th March, 2015.

There is generally a day gap for the papers in the exam schedule. However, only few papers are given more than one day preparatory leave, i.e. exams falling on 7th, 14th and 21st March, 2015. Higher secondary exam is held to qualify students for 10th board exams. Continue reading

The examination schedule for matriculation exams to be held in March 2015 has been released by the Punjab State Board. The exams are scheduled to begin on 17th March, 2015 and will end on 31st March, 2015.

There is no gap for the papers in the examination schedule. However, only two papers are given two days preparatory leave i.e. exams falling on 21st February and 27th February, 2015. Continue reading

CBSE Board exams to commence on March 2

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the board exams for classes X and XII from 2nd March, 2014. In all, 13.72 lakh candidates have registered for the Class X exam, up from 13.28 lakh in 2014.

Out of them, 6.7 lakh students have opted for the board test while the rest will take the school-based exam. On the other hand, a total of 10.39 lakh candidates have registered for the Class XII exam with an increase of around 10,000 from 2014. Continue reading

On Tuesday, the Delhi government’s Directorate of Education (DoE) directed private schools in Delhi to upload the criteria adopted for nursery admission for the academic year 2015-16. This has come as a relief to the parents of the toddlers who are in midst of all worries.

“All managers of private unaided recognised schools in Delhi are hereby directed to upload their criteria adopted (including points, if any) on departmental website http://www.edudel.nic.in,”; stated a circular issued by Additional Director of Education Ashima Jain.  Continue reading
